Product Description : This .70 Energy Factor (EF) water heater is atmospherically vented and utilizes a highly efficient blower to pull air through a tightly restricted baffle system. This provides a high rate of heat transfer to the water stored in the tank. The baffle system, 2" of non-CFC insulation, and the electronic ignition system help the water heater achieve its high Energy Factor rating. It currently qualifies for the September 1st, 2010 minimum ENERGY STAR EF requirement, as well as most utility rebate programs. It also meets the Department of Energy's (DOE) future energy conservation standards set to go into effect April 16, 2015.
